Throughout the semester I created three lesson plans that I could use in my classroom. The three lesson plans focus on integrating technology into the lesson and allowing the students the chance to learn hands-on.
For the first lesson, I will have my students investigate Wallwisher. They will have the opportunity to think of and share words that rhyme with the given word. If the word of the day is "star", then students could post words such as "bar", "car", "far", etc.
For the third lesson plan, we are focusing on families. The students will have the ability to use an iPad2. They will be using the application of PicCollage. Students will be able to take the iPad2 home and take pictures of themselves helping their families. With the help of their parents, the students will compile the pictures into a collage via the app on the iPad2.
For my second lesson plan, I am incorporating the SMARTboard that is located in the classroom. The students will learn what type of clothing is appropriate to wear outside in winter in Wisconsin. The students will interact with the SMARTboard and work together to categorize pieces of clothing as "appropriate" or "inappropriate".
